Mark Elrod, President
Mark is a respected leader in retail commercial real estate with 28 years of experience, and The Retail Property Company is Mark’s private investment company. He is also the Sr. Vice Preside of Retail at NAI Chase Commercial and oversees landlord leasing, tenant representation, acquisitions, and development for Chase across key Southeastern markets including Birmingham, Huntsville, Nashville, and Atlanta.
He has leased and sold several million square feet of retail space and has worked for 2 national REITs prior to Chase. His focus for almost 3 decades continues to be to work with many leading retailers, which has helped him build his client and customer base to include national retailers, grocery-anchored centers, outparcel developments, restaurant sites, mixed-use developments, and high-profile projects like Whole Foods, The Fresh Market, and Hyatt Hotels.
Mark holds a degree in Corporate Finance & Investment Management from The University of Alabama. He has also served as a business consultant, industry mentor, and board member of Meals on Wheels, as wells as a previous board member at the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Alabama.
